On most days we have a special guest attending the program to speak about their occupation or other interesting and important topics.
For July, ACT Emergency Services hope to stop by to demonstrate the equipment they use and fire safety in general. An Australia Airforce officer will speak about his career in the defence services and an Australia Army officer, involved in the ADFA AFL team, will discuss lesser known roles in the services.
Also scheduled for July is a discussion from a representative of youth mental health services organisation, Headspace. She will talk about gaming addiction, bullying and other toxic online behaviours.
The education sessions, combined with our two daily physical activity sessions, help break up the day. They are informative but best of all, they are fun.
