Most families are eligible for the CCS to offset the registration cost of the Active Gamers program and some families can now get as much as 90% off. The precise calculation for how much subsidy each family is eligible for is different and managed by Centrelink. We can’t tell you what your subsidy percentage will be, as it depends on a range on personal circumstances including your household income, number of children and hours already used. Here is a guide that might help: Click here to check Child Care Subsidy
The process of obtaining the CCS for your registration at Active Gamers is as follows;
1/ Fill out the registration/enrolment enquiry on our website. Please make sure you include correct CRN numbers and dates of
birth for your Child and associated adults. Click here to fill out the registration enquiry
2/ You must sign the Complying Written Agreement (CWA). After you have been issued with OWNA
login details, login to the app or web portal and find the ‘Sign CWA’ menu item associated with your
child. Sign the form and submit. This is a requirement for the CCS if it has been 3 months since your
child’s last day at Active Gamers. See this guide for detailed instructions: Sign the CWA in OWNA
3/ Once we have processed your enrolment and submitted the Child Care Subsidy application to the government, you will need to log into you MyGov Account and confirm the enrolment. This CCS Guide will step you through the process. You will be notified by the government once the Subsidy application has been submitted.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT CONFIRM THE ENROLMENT, THE SUBSIDY APPLICATION WILL NOT PROCEED. THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE END OF THE WEEK OF CHILD CARE.
4/ We reconcile accounts a fortnight after our program has run. This delay allows for subsidy payments settle. If there is a balance due this will be debited from the account you set up as the payment method when you made your booking. In some circumstances no payment methods are set up and we issue invoices for balances due. If there is an amount owed to you it will be refunded or you can keep your account in credit for a future booking.
Please note that if your dealings with Centrelink are delayed or not undertaken then we will need to send an invoice for 100% of the outstanding registration fees.
