Most families will be eligible for the CCS to offset the registration cost of the Active Gamers program and some families can now get as much as 90% off. The precise calculation for how much subsidy each family is eligible for is different and managed by Centrelink. We can’t tell you what your subsidy percentage will be, as it depends on a range on personal circumstances including your household income, number of children and hours already used. The process of obtaining the CCS for your registration at Active Gamers is as follows;
1/ Fill out the registration/enrolment enquiry on our website : Click here to fill out the registration enquiry
2/ The enrolment form includes a ‘Complying Written Agreement’ or CWA which you will need to complete if you plan to claim the child care subsidy.
3/ Once we have processed your enrolment and submitted the Child Care Subsidy application to the government, you will need to log into you MyGov Account and confirm the enrolment This guide will step you through: Click here to see the guide. You will be notified by the government once the Subsidy application has been submitted.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT CONFIRM THE ENROLMENT, THE SUBSIDY APPLICATION WILL NOT PROCEED. THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE END OF THE WEEK OF CHILD CARE.
4/ A fortnight after our program has run we reconcile accounts. The delay is to allow for subsidy payments settle. If there is a balance due this will be debited from the account you set up as the payment method when you made your booking. In some circumstances no payment methods are set up and we issue invoices for balances due. If there is an amount owed to you it will be refunded or you can keep your account in credit for a future booking.
Please note that if your dealings with Centrelink are delayed or not undertaken then we will need to send an invoice for 100% of the outstanding registration fees.
